Thursday January 17, 2008 CPR Recertification
This is the annual CPR recertification training, conducted with the gracious assistance of Shelburne Rescue. Attendence is mandatory for all members.
Thursday February 14, 2008 Valentine's Day
There will be no training on Valentine's Day this year. We'll leave it up to you to figure out what to do with your free evening.
Saturday February 16, 2008 Ice Rescue Training
This drill will be held at the ferry dock in Charlotte & will be conducted with the Charlotte Fire Department, hosted by Charlotte Assistant Chief Dick St. George. The plan will be to train with ice rescue suits on land and in the water, refresher training on the Rescue Alive ice rescue sled, cover shoreline training and other topics. The time will be finalized soon.
Thursday February 28, 2008 HazMat & Bloodborne Pathogen Training
Annual hazardous materials and bloodborne pathogen refresher training. This training is mandatory for all members.
Monday March 3, 2008 Shelburne Town Meeting
Town Meeting, the uniquely Vermont tradition, is held on March 3rd at 7:30 pm in the gymnasium of the Shelburne Community School. Members of the Fire Department are strongly encouraged to attend. Full dress uniform is recommended.
Tuesday March 4, 2008 Town Meeting Day
Voting will be from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm at the Town Hall. Everyone is encouraged to exercise your rights and vote!
Saturday March 8, 2008 Shelburne Fire & Shelburne Rescue Installation Banquet
The annual installation banquet for the Fire Department is once again being held with our emergency service partners from Shelburne Rescue.
Sunday March 9, 2008 Daylight Savings Time Begins
When you get home from the installation banquet, remember to set your clocks ahead one hour and to change the batteries in your smoke detectors and carbon monoxide alarms
