Chief Ouimet is originally from Chateaugay, New York and joined the fire service in August of 1992. He is a certified Firefighter II and was an Assistant Chief for over a decade before becoming Chief of the Department in August of 2011. A former EMT, his firefighting interests include interior firefighting and heavy rescue. He is an avid hockey, football and racing fan and participates as a rescue crew member at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway each summer.
Deputy Chief Goodrich is a Shelburne native and joined the fire service in January of 2002 with the Shelburne Fire Department. He is a certified Firefighter II and is a career Firefighter/Paramedic with the neighboring South Burlington Fire Department.
Capt. Estey grew up in Hartford, VT. He joined the fire service in January of 2016 with the Shelburne Fire Department. Lieutenant Estey is a certified Firefighter I, as well as an ice rescue technician. He loves hiking, biking, traveling, and cooking. His passion within the fire service is training people. He especially enjoys training newer members of the fire service and finds it extremely rewarding.
Lt. Kozlowski was born in Poland, then moved to Toronto at age five, but has been in Vermont since 1998. He joined the fire service in 2005 with the South Burlington Fire Department. He eventually moved to the Williston Fire Department, where he remained from 2011-2019, serving as a Lieutenant. He has been a member of the Shelburne Fire Department since 2019. He is a certified Firefighter II, AEMT, Ice Rescue Technician, and Fire Instructor, along with several other specialized certifications. His interests include truck company work and aerial operations.
Lt. Major is a native of Shelburne, Vermont and joined the Shelburne Fire Department’s Cadet program when he was 16. He is a certified Firefighter II, Ice Rescue Technician and Rescue Swimmer. His interests include interior firefighting, vehicle extrication, marine operations and water / ice rescue.
